Daniel: I remember Spokane well; Phantom played there in March 2000.

It was mostly cool and damp at that time of year, although the sun managed to poke out from the clouds once a week or so.

We stayed at a funky little motel which had RV spaces in the back. It was on Spokane’s main drag, east of downtown.

I was amazed at the steep roads snaking up the hills to the south of town. I would imagine that it’s a nightmare in snow!

I love the Fall colors in Spokane.. but alas, it’s now Winter, and we’re awaiting our first snow for the year.
It’s gorgeous country up here.

urspo: There is some Fall color in Bisbee, at 5300 ft. elevation there is more variety of trees than in your area. But at a mile high, most of the color is YELLOW.

Roxanne: Well, you ARE “up north” — WAAAAY north — as I recall. Sounds like you’re well into winter now.

Our leaves have been gone for awile. Now it’s just white as far as the eye can see!
